This meeting will continue to be an opportunity to share innovative ideas and best practices from around the world to improve our roadway systems. We’ll explore topics such as the relationship between MAP-21 and asset management, including its effect on life-cycle assessment, trust indenture, dynamically priced lanes and more. Other sessions will address the legal issues associated with drones, bridge and tunnel maintenance, security and threat assessment and active traffic management.
IBTTA Foundation's Annual Service Project precedes this Workshop. Consider joining us to focus on a few exciting and much needed projects for our Veterans in New Orleans!
Donation of $50.00 is required to participate which helps to fund materials needed for this project. To register, use the conference registration form below.
The IBTTA Foundation is headed back to New Orleans for this year’s service project, and it’s a big one. Grab your IBTTA friends, colleagues and families and get jazzed to return to the Big Easy! Nine years ago we completed a post-Katrina home rebuild, but it’s time to dig a little deeper.
Strap on your work boots and get your gloves, because this year, in partnership with Rebuilding Together New Orleans and Bastion, we’ll be focusing our efforts on a community serving disabled veterans, and we need your help!
With the support of the IBTTA team, we can bring Bastion, a nonprofit organization building an intentionally designed neighborhood for returning warriors and families with lifelong rehabilitative needs, a critical step closer to their goal of creating a holistic center with medical, mental health, legal, vocational, and therapeutic assistance and programs. Through their strong community model, they empower neighbors as volunteers in a warrior’s care plan, and sustain a thriving recovery from the wounds and casualties of war, but they can’t do it without us. Bastion’s community wellness center still needs a substantial amount of work to serve the community’s needs. In partnership with Bastion, Rebuilding Together New Orleans, and local veteran volunteers, we’ll focus on meaningful, skilled, and exciting projects that will help this wellness center become the pinnacle of support in the Bastion community.
We'll be building an accessible bus-stop structure, building a "little public library" for community use; installing an herb garden and planting sod, trees, bushes and plants and creating outdoor pathways.
