IBTTA Foundation Service Project Supporting the Ft. Myers Community Cooperative
The mission of Community Cooperative is to eliminate hunger and homelessness in southwest Florida while simultaneously inspiring and supporting sustained positive change in its clients by delivering innovative food, education, and social service programs.
It’s that time of year again – your opportunity to join your friends and colleagues for a great day of community service, rain or shine! This year IBTTA is headed to Community Cooperative in Ft. Myers, Florida, to help support their work and repair some of the damage that the community sustained as a result of Hurricane Ian.
Join the IBTTA volunteer team as we tackle various projects within the Community Cooperative facility, such as repairing and relocating gardens, planting herb gardens, refreshing indoor spaces with a fresh coat of paint, and assembling food packs, hygiene kits and student supplies for local community members. There's a task for everyone.
As with every IBTTA Foundation Service Project, it promises to be a day filled with meaningful connections and transformative actions. Check out photos from previous service projects then sign up to join us for a great day together!
- Participation Fee: $40.00 per person
- There is no limit to the number of volunteers.
