In celebration of International Women’s Day, IBTTA’s Women in Tolling Council hosted a discussion on the impact of transportation (or lack of) on women across the world. Women are often primary caretakers while also contributing to the financial well-being of a household. From first-world countries to those still struggling to provide basic infrastructure needs, transportation for women is both a financial and quality-of-life issue. This webinar explored the investments and policies directed at providing and ensuring equity in transportation for women, and will review the current state of equity in this area for women both in US and internationally.
