Notice of Upcoming Design-Build Request for Proposal for a Permanent Automated Work Zone Speed Control Program

Upcoming RFP Notice - The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will soon be seeking to retain a firm (Contractor) experienced with Automated Work Zone Speed Control (AWZSC) to design and implement a permanent program for AWZSC. The deployed systems would be in active road construction work zones on state roadways within Connecticut. The project will be CTDOT Project No. 0170-3775 with a 5-year initial program duration and use a Design-Build project delivery method.

Kane County, Division of Transportation

Notice of Advertisement to Sell Unused, Never Installed, Toll Collection Equipment by the County of Kane in the State of Illinois.

The County of Kane, State of Illinois, is soliciting interest from Toll Agencies, Toll System Operators, and Toll System Integrators, to purchase unused electronic toll collection equipment. The County purchased the equipment for a proposed All-Electronic Toll Collection System on the newly constructed Longmeadow Parkway Bridge, which the County has since elected not to toll.
