International Tolling Association Elects Emanuela Stocchi of Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori (AISCAT) as Second Vice President

WASHINGTON, DC – The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association’s (IBTTA) has announced the election of Emanuela Stocchi, Responsible for International Affairs for Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori (AISCAT), as the association’s 2015 Second Vice President. Stocchi is an expert in European Union (EU) legislation and international affairs and is a deputy board member of ASECAP - the European association of toll highways concessionaires companies.
Stocchi’s election as IBTTA’s Second Vice President for the association took place during the association’s 82nd Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas that brought together nearly 1,000 transportation leaders from more than 20 countries to discuss innovative practices, policies, technologies, funding options and business models transforming mobility for drivers worldwide.
“I am thrilled and very honored to be elected Second Vice President of IBTTA and I look forward to working all around the world with the members of our Association. In the US, in Europe, as well as in other countries of the world, tolling provides users with sustainable mobility, through the creation of efficient, safe, smart, high-quality road networks. Worldwide tolling industry presents indeed several aspects and elements that all IBTTA members share, which are built on a common understanding that the goal of sustainable mobility can be achieved through the application of user-financed transportation,” said Emanuela Stocchi, Responsible for International Affairs for Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori (AISCAT), and 2015 IBTTA Second Vice President.
