International Tolling Association Elects Malika Seddi of ASFA (Association Professionnelle Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage) as International Vice President

WASHINGTON, DC – The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association’s (IBTTA) has announced the election of Malika Seddi, Director of International Affairs, ASFA (Association Professionnelle Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage) as the association’s 2015 International Vice President. Seddi has been in the tolling industry for more than 20 years. She is Chair of the permanent committee on Safety and Sustainable Development in ASECAP (Association Européenne des Concessionnaires d’autoroutes et d’ouvrages à péage/ European Association of toll road operators).
Seddi’s election as IBTTA’s International Vice President for the association took place during the association’s 82nd Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas that brought together nearly 1,000 transportation leaders from more than 20 countries to discuss innovative practices, policies, technologies, funding options and business models transforming mobility for drivers worldwide.
“I am honored to be elected International Vice President of IBTTA. I look forward to working with members from around the world. In the US, in Europe, as well as in other countries of the world, tolling provides users with sustainable mobility, through the creation of efficient, safe, smart, high-quality road networks. The worldwide tolling industry presents several aspects and elements that all IBTTA members share, which are built on a common understanding that a goal of sustainable mobility can be achieved through the application of user-financed transportation,” said Malika Seddi, Director of International Affairs, ASFA (Association Professionnelle Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage) and 2015 IBTTA International Vice President.
