The 85^th Annual International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association Meeting to Showcase Award-Winning Toll Systems,

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With Atlanta becoming a test bed for new innovative transportation technologies and systems promoting enhanced mobility for drivers, the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA), the worldwide association representing toll facility owners and operators and the businesses that serve them, will shine a light on Georgia transportation during their upcoming  International Mobility Connections 85^th Annual Meeting & Exhibition slated for Sunday, September 10^th through Tuesday, September 12^th at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (265 Peachtree Center Avenue, Atlanta, GA.) The meeting will bring together a top-level list of Georgia elected leaders, state and local officials and nearly 700 transportation leaders from around the world.  With Atlanta as a key backdrop, IBTTA’s 85th Annual Meeting & Exhibition will focus sessions 
on the future of mobility, including discussions featuring the state’s transportation challenges and opportunities, safety and security impacts and how mobility’s best practices are being shared across regional transportation hubs. 

The meeting will be hosted by IBTTA member, Georgia’s State Road & Tollway Authority, which is being honored as a Toll Excellence Award-winner for their customer service and marketing outreach related to the authority’s Commuter Credits program, a three-pronged pilot program that focused on providing alternatives to travelling solo during the peak periods on Atlanta's congested I-85 corridor.

She's also the author of the new memoir Shoot Like a Girl, soon-to-be a major motion picture. Hegar's exceptional grit shows that fighting for what you believe in in enemy territory and beyond-is always worthwhile.
