WASHINGTON, D.C. – The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association’s (IBTTA), the worldwide association for the owners and operators of toll facilities and the businesses that serve tolling, has announced the election of Malika Seddi, Director of International Affairs, ASFA (Association Professionnelle Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage / French Association of toll motorway, tunnel and bridges operators) as the association’s 2019 International Vice-President. She has previously served in the same capacity from 2006 to 2016.
Seddi was elected as the 2019 IBTTA International Vice-President by the IBTTA membership during the association’s 86th Annual Meeting held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA on October 16, 2018. IBTTA’s Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of tolling professionals from around the globe with more than 850 transportation leaders attending from 20 countries. Topics discussed during the meeting ranged from innovative practices, policies, technologies, funding options and business models helping to transform greater mobility for drivers.
Seddi has worked in the tolling industry for 20 plus years. She is Chair of the permanent committee on Safety and Sustainable Development in ASECAP (Association Européenne des Concessionnaires d’autoroutes et d’ouvrages à péage/ European Association of toll road operators).
