The Link Between Transportation Apps Like RideScout and Tolling

Smartphone apps that provide information about routes, traffic and travel mode choices are changing transportation by faciliting more efficient mobility.

In a recent interview, CEO and co-founder of RideScout Joseph Kopser talked about how this facilitation mirrors and even works with today's tolling technology. Kopser will be the keynote speaker at IBTTA's Summit on AET, Managed Lanes and Interoperability July 20-22 in San Diego.

In this interview Kopser explains that RideScout, a mobile smartphone app available for iOS and Android, represents "the next evoloution of what electronic toll collection has become" as it facilitates seamless transportation that keeps traffic moving. He also talks about how the app can help local transportation agencies to create more efficient dynamic tolling.
